The Black & Teal Brigade, Sultana High School’s marching band and color guard, is one of the top bands in the state of California. The students always perform at the highest level, as evidenced by the numerous accolades earned in marching band, winter drumline, winter guard, and concert festivals.

The Brigade has also been a finalist at the California State Band Championship Finals for 8 consecutive seasons, including 2 Gold Medals, 1 Silver medal, and 1 Bronze medal. During the winter and spring months, many students continue with our competitive indoor drumline and color guard seasons to further their skills & talents, while also winning numerous competitive awards for the program. Additionally, our members lead the way in academic prowess, frequently placing in the top 10% of their graduating classes, being nominated to the National Honor Society & California Scholastic Federation, and holding one of the highest student-organization GPAs in the school year after year.

The Sultana Band Booster organization supports the students, staff, & director by providing meals, equipment, event planning, prop construction, sound equipment, instruments, travel, and more.
